Deja vu
Well, I can only guess, that it has been a deja vu, because as far as I can tell i have played this game exactly one time. So he died one time. ...wait a second. He died one time? Considering, that to this point at least 40.000 people have opened this submission it might as well be, that he died around that number of times. 40.000 extra lives, equally divided by 40.000 players...
Actually, I did have seen this before in another game I have stumbled upon. A game where you see a scene though a scope, aiming at a blindfolded guy tied to a pole. To win the game, you just had to hit escape. A curious minded player, used to the idea of scoring by shooting at virtual persons might consider it a good idea to just shoot the guy. The game wrote a key into the registry to keep you from playing again. "Some decisions bear consequenced which can not be undone"
Jeez, imagine if you bought a cartridge for an older game system where you actually only got one life. Would you buy another cartridge to try again, would you smash the cartridge in anger... or just wait until someone managed to beat the game and puts it on youtube...
Luckily such things don't really happen and the idea of games with only one real try are only a feature of indie games and... well... arcade games.
I made it to World 5. Woo!
[This game was very short, but entertaining for the time being. Message got delivered and you aren't in danger of getting bored if you stop pestering the grave over and over]
